ASUS ROG concluded its keynote at Gamescom 2023 some time ago so let’s go through what they have announced so far.
Motherboards
3 new Z790 motherboards have been revealed with 2 of them belonging to the ROG family while a stray lone TUF Gaming gets added into the mix. More details are in the announcement post.
Gaming Monitors
Gaming displays also see the number “3”, welcoming a total of three new ROG Swift OLED models into the portfolio of premium quality monitors. PSU
The renowned frills-filled ROG Loki PSU adds another new high-tier model with 1200W of power alongside the 80 PLUS Titanium sticker that makes it by far the best-in-class PSU of the lineup. It is functionally offered more or less the same.
AIO
Announced earlier this month, the TUF Gaming LC II 360 ARGB offers essential cooling performance at a more affordable price tag. The 400mm sleeved tubing is reinforced for durability while the illuminated cold plate, big radiator, and 3x 120mm ARGB fans all work together to chill the CPU. The RGB is also synchronizable via Aura Sync.
Router
The world’s first WiFi 7 quad-band gaming router is here, the ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro. Leveraging 320MHz channel support in the 6GHz band offering speeds of up to 30,000Mbps which is 160% higher than WiFi 6.
The 4K QAM modulation tech, Multi-Link Operation, and Multi-RU Puncturing are all part of the key features allowing users to enjoy such speeds via wireless connections.
It also has tri-level game acceleration, gaming ports, and QoS that minimize latency.
Glass Mousepad
For the unhinged gang, the tempered glass gaming mouse pad ROG Moonstone Ace L will give you the movement edge through the super smooth surface creating swift glides with minimal friction.
A special coating is applied that reduces sound when moving while the top right has a simple ROG logo marked for some style.
Gaming Controller
A highly customizable gamepad, the Raikiri Pro is here to provide a tri-mode connection between PCs and Xbox (Wired only) so you can game seamlessly anywhere. The centerpiece OLED display adds a tad of personality because you can add custom animations use it as status indicators or even switch profiles on the fly.
On the back, 4 left and right buttons are programmable to become other buttons or usable to adjust joystick sensitivity too while triggers can be set to be short or full trigger mode.
Mechanical Keyboard Switch
For the custom keyboard community, the new ROG NX Storm is a tactile switch created with PC housing and a POM stem with a box design that reduces dust intrusion. They are factory-lubed to provide a decent experience out of the box and be used stock.
