GIGABYTE and ASUS have revealed which model have they decided to go with the new Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT graphics cards so let’s take a look.
From GIGABYTE, they are not doing the eagle head AORUS this time around and instead sticking to the root family. Under the GAMING OC models, both carry the WINDFORCE cooling system featuring 3x unique blade fans that spin alternately for better airflow.
Adding the GPU die-contacting copper plate plus composite copper heat pipes alongside 3D active fans and screen cooling, temperatures will be under control. Moreover, the dual BIOS switch easily swaps profiles between OC and SILENT.
The side RGB strip mildly lights up the GIGABYTE logo but can be customized via the GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER center while the upgraded metal back plate provides a more durable structure.
For ASUS’s side, the TUF Gaming family will be taking over, offering a black-and-white edition for both GPU models.
Fixed with a 2.96-slot form factor, longevity, and simple yet subtle style have always been TUF Gaming’s approach. With 144 hours of validation testing, they are durable enough to serve you for years thanks to the 3x in-house Axial-tech fans delivering more airflow and static pressure.
With on the fly Dual BIOS switch, one may change the performance immediately with a flick of the switch with further tuning available in GPU Tweak III while the dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors will make peace with those who don’t want to join the ATX 3.0 generation just yet.
