ASUS Malaysia has introduced the new router duo ExpertWiFi EBM68 and ExpertWiFi EBR63 for local businesses to utilize.
Both models feature Self-Defined Network (SDN) capabilities, allowing the provision of up to five SSIDs to separate and prioritize devices for different business purposes. These models are specifically designed to cater to the needs of small office/home office (SOHO) setups, accommodating approximately 12 devices simultaneously.
Further customization is provided in the form of policies and segmentation for different users with varied levels of access power. Furthermore, VLAN-based segmentation is also supported, with the ability to create up to 16 profiles.
In terms of physical adaptability, the ExpertWiFi EBM68 is equipped with a wall mount stand, improving coverage and signal strength in limited installation spaces. On the other hand, the EBR63 includes a built-in bracket that can be adjusted based on the user’s requirements.
The routers offer robust security features, including support for multiple VPN protocols (L2TP/IPSec, PPTP, Open VPN, and WireGuard) and site-to-site VPNs. This makes them highly beneficial for businesses operating across multiple locations.
To enhance security further, ASUS collaborated with Trend Micro to develop AiProtection Pro, which provides features such as device access control, safe browsing, and one-tap security scans.
For centralized management access, the ExpertWiFi App enables businesses with multiple branch offices to connect all ExpertWiFi devices under a single administrator account. Additionally, the routers support backup WAN functionality, allowing Android or iPhone devices to serve as mobile hotspots for the local network in the absence of internet services.
