Ultrawide gamers rejoice, there’s a couple of new Acer offerings coming in soon that will rip your wallet and pockets in exchange for a far premium gaming experience down the line.
For the Nitro representative, we have the Nitro XZ452CU V that comes in at 44.5-inch and 1500R curvature at 32:9 aspect ratio for all those wide angles. Packing 165Hz of refresh rate with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro on top of 90% DCI-P3 color gamut and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, game to the fullest to your heart’s desire.
It also has a range of Acer’s in-house features such as BlueLightShield Pro, Flickerless, Low-dimming, and ComfyView. Additionally, it also supports Acer Ergostand to make it fully adjustable from the heights to the orientation and viewing angles. Breakout functions include USB-C that can do data, display, and charging, USB-B for KVM switching, and an RJ45 Ethernet port.
On the Predator side of things, the Predator X34 V goes for the OLED superiority with a resolution of 3440×1440 and runs faster at 175Hz with 0.1ms response time for minimum ghosting occurrence. The color gamut on this one is 99% DCI-P3 and it also has the VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 sticker on it.
The Curvature is at 1800R while the aspect ratio is at 21:9. The bread and butter AMD FreeSync Premium and Variable Refresh Rate support alongside the suite of BlueLightShield Pro + Flickerless + Low-dimming + ComfyView features are expected as well.
Pricing and Availability
The Acer Nitro X2452CU will make way starting from Q4 2023 with the price of USD999.99 while the Predator X34 V is at USD1,299.99 with the same release timeframe.
