Returning by popular demand for a third year running, #GrabDurian will allow Singaporeans to order a box of the very best quality and much-loved Mao Shan Wang durian via the Grab app, and one of our dedicated #GrabDurian drivers will deliver it personally right to their door. They’ll have to act fast though, because the durian is delicious, but supplies are limited!
This year, Grab will also be celebrating its Platinum users, giving them the chance to use GrabRewards points to redeem their box of Mao Shan Wang durian. This special one-off GrabReward icon will go live on the Grab app for Platinum users on Thursday 10th August, and those successful will then be prompted to fill in their details for delivery on Saturday 12th August.
Everyone else can #GrabDurian by using GrabPay on Sunday 13th August, sending money instantly from their account and waiting for our #GrabDurian drivers to deliver their durian to their door on the same day. #GrabDurian can only be paid for using GrabPay, so users will need to make sure they’ve added their card to their Grab account for seamless and fuss-free payments.
As well as celebrating National Day with Singapore’s most famous fruit, you may have also noticed that Grab has been distinctly Singaporean for the last few days! To mark National Day, the Grab app will be talking its very best Singlish, telling you ‘yay, driver here liao!’ rather than ‘your driver has arrived’ and ‘wait ah, finding driver…’ instead of ‘finding you a driver’. This local lingo will last until 9th August.
