As cybersecurity has grown increasingly complex, organizations have been
forced to cobble together disparate security products in the hopes of improving
their cybersecurity posture. However, these unintegrated solutions leave gaps
in protection and result in complicated and inefficient infrastructure.

Juniper is broadening this ecosystem through enhancements to its Junos Space® Security Director
Policy Enforcer, which automates security policy enforcement across
the network, preventing threats across firewalls, Juniper switches and now
third-party switches – an industry first. This will allow the network to
provide protection from both incoming and laterally moving threats.
Additionally, Security Director and vSRX will also be compatible with VMware NSX to provide elevated
management, policy enforcement, Layer 4-7 next-generation firewall and threat
containment for applications in the private cloud.

Sky™ Advanced Threat Prevention with Email Analysis: Juniper’s cloud-based
malware prevention service adds detection of threats in email, enabling
advanced detection designed to rapidly find and catch the most destructive
exploits, including ransomware threats like WannaCry. Its
machine learning enhances threat research and intelligence, while email
traffic analysis catches more malware and stops it before it spreads.

“Juniper’s Software-Defined Secure Networks unified cybersecurity
platform leverages the entire network and an open ecosystem, which is the right
defense posture for customers to take in order to best keep today’s networks
safe. No longer can a single vendor or end-point product stop cyber criminals
as customers continue to rapidly migrate to diverse cloud environments. Juniper
is bringing their solution, which features automation, machine learning and
real-time intelligence, together with third-party devices, technology partner
integration and a suite of open APIs, to deliver true unified security.”

“As a managed IT services provider, we recognize that traditional,
reactive security technologies aren’t enough to protect a business or its
customers. In a world where cybersecurity threats are not only increasing in
quantity, but increasing in intelligence, it is critical we put into place a
solution that will allow us to protect our infrastructure. We believe Juniper
Networks’ SDSN platform is the right approach to cybersecurity. It provides an
open, automated and real-time solution that simplifies operations to help
protect against threats that occur anywhere in the network.”
