Unlike the typical accelerator format, the specific objective of
this Ignition program is to prepare founders and their early-stage companies
for a partnership or pilot with INFINITI. After eight weeks of support and
guidance the selected entrepreneurs may have the opportunity to pitch a viable
business-use case to INFINITI’s senior decision makers and key innovation
stakeholders from across the Renault-Nissan Alliance.

One such company to benefit from the internal
expertise and infrastructure at INFINITI is Singapore-based company Hapticus –
an alumni of the INIFINITI Accelerator 2.0 in Hong Kong. Hapticus is a mobility
solution technology company, whose flagship product is a virtual transportation
hub for people with special needs. Their system, comprised of a set of mobile
and web applications, matches adequate transportation options with the specific
user’s mobility needs. Currently INFINITI is working directly with the founder
Amir Nivy to run a pilot project, with the view to confirming a more
substantial partnership in the near future.

Nest CEO, Lawrence Morgan commented, “This
program could be transformational for early-stage companies who need commercial
validation of their product. Startups need the opportunity to test their
products and theories and this program is highly focused on giving founders a
clear path to POC so they can quickly gain traction and scale.”
