Head of Xbox Phil Spencer
announced on Twitter that
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will be available as an Xbox Play Anywhere title when it launches on 24 January. This means that gamers who purchase a digital version of
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard from the Xbox Store or Windows
Store (includes any Xbox One title pre-orders to date) will
automatically have access to the game on both platforms.
As an Xbox Play Anywhere title, gamers can save their
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard progress, DLC (including
add-ons, Season Passes and in-game unlocks), Gamerscore and Achievements
to Xbox Live, so they can pick up where they left on another Xbox One
or Windows 10 PC.
