1-Net & Burst Networks Sign Agreement on Data Center Operations Project in Myanmar

SINGAPORE, 10th January 2017 –
1-Net announced today that it has signed an agreement with Burst
Networks to provide operational support for their Uptime Institute
certified Tier IV data center at Thilawa Special Economic Zone (SEZ) on
the outskirts of Yangon, the largest city in Myanmar.

This collaboration will
enable 1-Net to extend its extensive data center knowledge and
capabilities to design, develop and provide 24 X 7 operation support to
Burst Network’s new data center in Myanmar. The aim
is to support Burst Networks by providing the highest level of data
center security, network best practices and reliability when they
deliver their services to their clients’ mission-critical operations.
This facility is Myanmar’s first Tier IV data center
certified Uptime Institute; which is the most stringent specification
in terms of redundancy, fault tolerance and availability that yields
service availability of 99.995%.

1-Net and Burst Networks
are also developing network connectivity between 1-Net’s data center in
Singapore and Burst’s data center in Myanmar. The two data centers will
be connected by a network operated by Campana
Group Pte Ltd, which consists of two direct and diverse submarine and
terrestrial routes to provide a robust nationwide network to their
customers.
