Sennheiser unveils first brand store in Singapore
The audio specialist also inks exclusive partnership with local artistes, 53A and Jack & Rai

Singapore, 2 August 2016 – Sennheiser Asia today announced the opening of its first fully-owned brand store in Singapore. Located at Marina Square Shopping Mall, the store will offer a unique retail experience where consumers and music professionals can access Sennheiser’s wide portfolio of audio products.
The new Sennheiser Brand store features a wide range of the audio’s specialist’s consumer and professional audio products. Besides a broad portfolio of headphone models, the retail space will offer a selection of microphones for musicians and video journalists, as wee as BYOD audio conferencing solutions. “Our Brand Store in Singapore is a hive of technical innovation where we demonstrate how we relentlessly pursue the creation of perfect sound. Both consumers and musicians come here to experience the Sennheiser sound, and share with us their passion for audio,” said Dennis Wendt, Director, Direct Sales at Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG.

“Singapore is a key market for us, and this is an integral part of our regional go-to-market strategy to continually reach out to consumers here in innovative ways. This brand store will reach out to both music enthusiasts and audio professionals alike through one single touchpoint,” said Martin Low, Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Sennheiser Asia.
For the first time, customers who are considering a new headphone will be able to trial and take a Sennheiser headphone home on loan before deciding if they want to purchase it. The Headphones for Hire service is part of Sennheiser’s dedication to offering products and solutions tailored to benefit end-users.
Customers only need to pay a security deposit to loan any unit out of Sennheiser’s selected premium range of headphones for a week. Sennheiser will kick off this service in August 2016 by offering selected audiophile and travel headphones for loan, which will include the popular MOMENTUM Wireless, HD 800 S, HD 650, and HD 630VB.

Additionally, the Sennheiser Brand Store will serve as a drop-off and pick-up point for customers looking to service their existing Sennheiser headphones and microphones. With a guaranteed service period of seven days from the item drop-off date for Sennheiser’s consumer range, this value-added service will offer further convenience for Sennheiser users who conventionally visit the Sennheiser Service Centre at Alexandra Technopark.
