Even though Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 has already been available for download and purchase for a few weeks, Microsoft will only be officially launching it today at an virtual online event. The launch event will be held virtually on 10am Eastern time (11PM Singapore Time). The webcast can be accessed at http://events.visualstudio.com/
Microsoft’s executives S.Somasegar, Scott Guthrie and Brian Harry will be part of the virtual launch event. They will be talking about the new features and improvements on Visual Studio 203. After a launch address, they will go directly into the technical aspects of Visual Studio 2013 and how developers can make use of the new IDE to improve their codes.
Developers who are interested in developing with Visual Studio should not miss the webcast. If you are a student or a MSDN/TechNet subscriber, the Visual Studio 2013 is already available for download.
