HONOR X9e Pro launches in Singapore with an 11,000mAh battery from S$499

The HONOR X9e Pro pairs an 11,000mAh battery with 80W charging, IP69K protection and promotional Singapore prices from S$499.

HONOR has launched the X9e Pro in Singapore, placing battery capacity and durability at the centre of its latest X-series smartphone. The handset carries an 11,000mAh battery, supports 80W wired charging and is offered at promotional prices starting from S$499.

The phone is available in Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black. HONOR lists three storage configurations, although its headline memory figures combine physical RAM with storage-backed HONOR RAM Turbo rather than representing physical memory alone.

Singapore pricing and configurations

Physical RAM and RAM TurboStoragePromotional pricePrice before rebate
6GB physical + 12GB RAM Turbo (18GB advertised)128GBS$499S$529
8GB physical + 16GB RAM Turbo (24GB advertised)256GBS$629S$659
8GB physical + 16GB RAM Turbo (24GB advertised)512GBS$799S$829

The physical-memory amounts above follow from HONOR's stated combined totals and RAM Turbo allocations. Buyers should not interpret the advertised 18GB and 24GB figures as entirely physical RAM.

HONOR says pre-orders include bundled gifts worth up to S$626, but the supplied announcement does not state the campaign deadline, participating retailers or how the maximum bundle value varies by configuration. Customers should confirm the applicable rebate and gift terms with the seller before ordering.

An 11,000mAh battery with 80W charging

The X9e Pro's 11,000mAh battery is substantially larger than the 8,300mAh unit in the preceding X9d. HONOR claims it can deliver up to 66.8 hours of video playback and as much as three days of typical use on one charge. Those endurance figures come from the manufacturer and will vary with display settings, mobile reception, applications, temperature and individual usage.

Wired HONOR SuperCharge rises from 66W on the predecessor to 80W. The phone also supports 27W wired reverse charging, allowing it to supply power to compatible phones and accessories through a cable.

HONOR describes the battery as having a six-year health expectancy, but the announcement does not provide the underlying cycle count, retained-capacity threshold or test conditions. It should therefore be treated as a design claim rather than a guarantee that every battery will retain a particular capacity for six years.

Despite the battery size, the X9e Pro measures 8.08mm thick and weighs 203g, according to HONOR.

Up to three-metre drop resistance and IP69K protection

HONOR says its EXTREME Armor-Tough construction is designed to withstand drops of up to three metres. It also advertises IP69K protection, a rating associated with resistance to dust and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets under specified laboratory conditions.

Neither claim means the phone is indestructible. Drop outcomes depend on the surface, angle and condition of the device, while water resistance can deteriorate through wear or damage. The supplied launch material does not set out warranty coverage for accidental or liquid damage.

The announcement focuses on battery, charging and durability and does not provide a complete specification sheet for the processor, display, cameras, connectivity or software-support policy. Those details will be important when comparing the X9e Pro with similarly priced devices.

What to check before buying

The unusually large battery may appeal to users who spend long periods away from a charger, while wired reverse charging gives the device a secondary role as a power source. Its practical value will depend on real-world endurance, charging time, sustained performance and the terms attached to HONOR's durability claims.

TTR has not tested the HONOR X9e Pro. Battery life, battery longevity, charging and durability statements in this article are manufacturer claims and have not been independently verified.
