MINIX has once again added yet another product to its mini workstation portfolio, this time the Elite ER939-AI, created for demanding workloads such as AI development, 3D rendering, and content creation without sacrificing portability and desk space.
Designed to deliver desktop-grade power in a small chassis, the system is built around AMD’s latest Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor for a premium yet portable choice of 16-core, 32-thread goodness alongside up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance and 126 TOPS of total AI compute power.
Memory config is also an important factor to host things like large datasets and project files, therefore this little system can hold as much as 128 GB of LPDDR5-8000 memory and expand storage up to 8 TB via dual M.2 NVMe slots. One can also find modern connectivity options such as WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and 2x 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports.
Despite rocking a compact 205 × 192 × 70 mm footprint, its thermals are handled well by its tri-fan design, and users can toggle between 55 W, 85 W, and 120 W power modes depending on their performance needs. For security and convenience, a built-in fingerprint sensor allows fast, secure access to the system.

MINIX has yet to reveal detailed pricing and regional availability, but has stated that they will be pushing it globally in the near future.
