Hong Kong-based MINIX has unveiled its latest product, the Elite ER937 AI Mini PC, which is a powerhouse compact desktop built for professionals, creators, and gamers who demand top-tier performance in a sleek, space-saving design.
Equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor that offers 12 cores and 24 threads alongside Radeon 890M iGPU + Ryzen AI NPU, it offers an all-around computing environment that can tackle daily use, gaming and rendering on the fly, as well as various real-time AI processing and smart productivity applications.
Memory capacity is also pretty generous since it can support up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM and 8 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, while cooling is done through a dual-fan setup of one for the 65W CPU and another for the SSD, plus a vapor chamber to spread heat evenly across the board, ensuring stable performance even during long sessions.
Its specialized cooling solution uses a dual-fan layout – one for the 65W CPU and another for the SSD, complemented by a VC vapor chamber that distributes heat evenly to prevent thermal throttling under sustained loads.
To minimize the use of external peripherals, MINIX even included 2x front microphones that were small and hidden away for clear voice capture, while the magnetic quick-release chassis allows for tool-free upgrades or maintenance. Connectivity-wise, you can find 2x 2.5GbE for realible and fast Internet/LAN connection, as well as WiFi 7 + Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless access. For professionals, the USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 ports will come in handy for high speed gears and storage devices, while the one-click fingerprint unlock feature enhances both convenience and security.
