ROG has unveiled the new Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition, a 65% compact mechanical keyboard built in collaboration with professional Counter-Strike player Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut. The special edition model blends ROG’s engineering expertise with ZywOo’s competitive mindset, offering tournament-grade performance and refined typing acoustics.
The ROG HFX magnetic switches are pre-lubed for smoother keystrokes and rated for 100 million presses, combining a POM stem with polycarbonate housing to reduce friction and enhance durability.
The adjustable 0.1–4.0mm actuation range can be customized through the keyboard’s multifunction button, touch panel, or Gear Link software, offering a wide range of tuning options for gamers.
For shooters, the Speed Tap mode ensures immediate directional changes by prioritizing the last input when pressing two opposite keys, eliminating movement delays during strafing.
The Rapid Trigger function, on the other hand, enables near-instant key reset during release, allowing continuous input without needing the key to return to its original position — an advantage for competitive players demanding split-second reactions.
The 8000Hz polling rate delivers a 0.125ms response time, up to eight times faster than typical gaming keyboards, while the five-layer dampening and silicone gasket system enhances comfort and minimizes unwanted pinging sounds during intense use.
Additional design touches include dual USB-C ports that support two simultaneous PC connections, an included protective cover that doubles as a tray mount, and three adjustable tilt angles for ergonomic flexibility.
