ASUS has officially revealed the new ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX, marking the debut of the world’s first 8K HDR mini LED professional monitor. Aimed at creative professionals, this 32-inch display pushes the boundaries of visual accuracy and color performance, establishing a new benchmark for high-end content creation.
The PA32KCX features an 8K (7680 x 4320) panel with an ultra-sharp 275 pixels per inch, delivering more than double the pixel density of 4K counterparts and up to 300% more onscreen space. It utilizes 4032-zone local dimming and advanced mini LED backlighting, reaching 1200 nits peak brightness and 1000 nits full-screen sustained brightness for exceptional contrast and clarity.
Color precision is another defining element of the display. The PA32KCX supports 95% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec.709 color gamuts, with each unit factory pre-calibrated to achieve a Delta E<1 color difference. Its true 10-bit IPS panel renders over a billion colors, ensuring faithful reproduction for video editing, photography, and post-production.
ASUS enhances this accuracy with a built-in motorized colorimeter that can perform automated or scheduled self-calibration independent of the operating system. The ProArt Calibration system stores color profiles directly on the monitor’s internal scaler, maintaining consistency across different setups. Compatibility with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS software expands flexibility for professional color workflows, while ProArt Color Center allows remote calibration management across multiple displays.
The monitor’s Smart HDR feature supports Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10 formats, enabling creators to produce and preview HDR content tailored for streaming, broadcast, and cinematic standards.
On the connectivity front, the PA32KCX offers dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, and two HDMI 2.1 ports for wide compatibility. One Thunderbolt port provides 96W Power Delivery, and the integrated auto KVM streamlines control between two systems. Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture modes enhance multitasking capabilities, while the ambient and proximity sensors intelligently adjust brightness to the working environment.
ASUS also prioritizes ergonomics, offering tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments along with a wraparound hood to minimize reflections. Each purchase includes a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription (worth up to US$397.44), valid for redemption until August 31, 2026.
