ASUS has announced the ExpertCenter PB64, a 1.35-liter mini PC designed to deliver desktop-class performance in a compact footprint. Equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 2) and Intel Graphics, the system supports CPUs ranging from 35W to 65W, offering up to 1.29x better multithreaded performance compared to its predecessor.
The PB64 accommodates up to three storage drives, including two PCIe Gen 4 SSDs, alongside DDR5-6400MHz memory for improved speed and responsiveness. It also supports up to four simultaneous displays through dual DisplayPort connectors, USB4 Type-C, and a configurable output that can be customized as DisplayPort, HDMI, or VGA.
The entire unit is quite small, measuring at just 175 x 175 x 44.2mm, making it fit seamlessly into offices, retail environments, and healthcare facilities. The system is available in black and white finishes and includes a modular optical drive, VESA mounting compatibility, and a bundled stand for flexible placement. Tool-free access also simplifies memory and SSD upgrades.
Connectivity options are extensive, with eight USB ports featuring a mix of USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1, USB Type-A Gen 1, and USB 2.0 connections. The configurable I/O port supports HDMI, VGA, COM, DisplayPort, or LAN for both legacy and modern setups. Intel UHD Graphics further enables crisp 4K visuals across multiple displays, making it suitable for commercial and industrial applications.
Wireless capabilities are powered by Intel WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring faster, more reliable connections. WiFi 7 supports up to 16 devices for smoother conferencing and data transfers, while Bluetooth 5.4 maintains stable peripheral connections. Security measures include a Kensington lock slot and an intrusion alert that notifies administrators if the chassis has been accessed.
Built to withstand demanding conditions, the PB64 meets US MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards, ensuring resilience against temperature, humidity, and vibration. Designed for 24/7 operation, it also integrates ASUS’s IT management tools to streamline system monitoring and reduce maintenance efforts.
The ExpertCenter PB64 is part of the ASUS Corporate Stable Model (CSM) program, which guarantees a 36-month supply and includes the ASUS Control Center management software valued at US$60. This platform offers centralized monitoring and control of ASUS business devices, reinforcing the PB64’s positioning as a durable, enterprise-ready mini PC.
