ASUS has announced the Turbo Radeon AI Pro R9700 32GB, a workstation-class graphics card built for AI developers and professionals who require powerful local performance in compact systems. Designed with efficiency and reliability in mind, the R9700 combines high-capacity memory with a slim two-slot profile, making it suitable for multi-GPU setups and space-constrained environments.
The card features a blower-style cooling system that expels heat directly out of the chassis, maintaining consistent performance even under heavy AI workloads. ASUS integrates a diecast metal shroud and backplate to improve rigidity and thermal performance, while the unique wave-patterned backplate design helps reduce memory temperatures by up to 16%.
Complementing this is a phase-change GPU thermal pad, which liquifies to fill micro gaps between the GPU and heatsink for optimal heat transfer and improved longevity over standard thermal paste.
Durability is another key focus. The ASUS GPU Guard manufacturing process reinforces all four corners of the GPU die with adhesive to prevent bending or cracking during operation. Meanwhile, the 304 stainless steel bracket offers enhanced corrosion resistance, further extending the card’s lifespan in demanding workstation environments.
With its combination of efficient cooling, compact design, and professional-grade durability, the Turbo Radeon AI Pro R9700 underscores ASUS’s continued push into AI-ready hardware solutions for developers and content creators alike.
