TEAMGROUP has introduced the T-CREATE EXPERT P34F Find My External SSD, the first external solid-state drive to feature Apple’s Find My tracking built directly into the device. The launch highlights a growing trend of integrating location services into consumer electronics to enhance data security and portability.
The EXPERT P34F connects seamlessly with supported Apple devices through the Find My app, enabling users to locate the drive on a map and trigger sound alerts via its built-in speaker. Unlike other portable storage solutions, it requires no additional accessories for tracking, making it a unique entry in the external SSD market.
In addition to its tracking capabilities, the device features a zinc alloy body that makes up 73% of its construction, weighs just 70 grams, and is more compact than a credit card. It supports USB 3.2 Gen2x1 speeds through a Type-C connector and is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Thunderbolt devices.
For consumer confidence, they are backing the P34F with a three-year warranty and positioning it as a balance of performance, portability, and sustainability, with the product uses FSC-certified eco-friendly packaging and is subject to extensive testing and quality control.
