BIOSTAR has expanded its industrial product lineup with the launch of the BITWL-150, a compact 10x10cm motherboard designed to meet the needs of automation, edge computing, HMI, and digital signage deployments.
The platform is powered by Intel’s Twin Lake N150 processor, offering quad-core performance up to 3.6GHz and support for DDR5-4800MHz memory up to 16GB. With triple-display outputs via HDMI, DisplayPort, and Type-C at up to 4K60, the BITWL-150 is tailored for visual-intensive applications such as digital signage and industrial dashboards.
Networking and expansion are key focus areas. Dual Intel 2.5GbE LAN ports provide low-latency connectivity essential for industrial communication, while M.2 slots accommodate NVMe/SATA storage and wireless modules. For deployments requiring additional ports, there’s the NUC-2LAN add-on card with two extra LAN ports, one COM port, and a USB 2.0 interface.
With support for Windows 11 IoT Enterprise 24H2 and Ubuntu 24.04, the BITWL-150 is positioned as a long-term solution for system integrators and automation specialists seeking reliable performance in space-constrained environments. Its mix of processing power, durability, and connectivity reflects the broader trend of compact industrial platforms designed to streamline system integration in modern IoT and edge applications.
