At IBC 2025, ASUS has announced several new monitors for creative professionals so they can take advantage of the color accuracy-focused and creator-dedicated features these new models offer.
One of the highlights is the new ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA27USD. It’s a 27-inch 4K UHD monitor built around QD-OLED tech, and it’s all about color accuracy. We’re talking 99% DCI-P3 coverage, factory calibration with a Delta E of less than one, and support for professional calibration tools like Calman and ColourSpace. On top of that, it pushes HDR performance with 1000 nits peak brightness, true 10-bit color depth, and support for HDR-10 and HLG formats.
Connectivity is also dialed in: 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports with 96W power delivery, HDMI, 12G SDI, and a USB hub make it easy to slot into any setup. ASUS even thought about comfort by offering two stand options and a hood to cut down reflections, whether you’re in a brightly lit studio or shooting outdoors.
If you need something way bigger, ASUS has the ProArt Cinema PQ09U, a micro-LED display measuring 162 inches across and running 4K UHD HDR with a pixel pitch of just 0.93mm. That’s finer than the typical 1.2mm or 1.5mm pitch you see on most micro-LEDs, so the visuals look sharper and smoother. With 1200 nits peak brightness, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 97% DCI-P3 coverage, it’s clearly made for home cinema, broadcasting, or high-end studio use where quality can’t be compromised.
For on-set needs, they are also introducing the ProArt Display PA16USV. This is a 15.6-inch 4K panel running at 282ppi, with 12G SDI support to keep workflows sharp and fast. It’s portable but versatile—thanks to its adjustable kickstand, tripod sockets, and VESA mount options. At IBC, ASUS is demoing it in live production setups for tasks like focus pulling, DIT cart monitoring, and direct feed review.
