Kingston has revealed a newly refreshed look for its XS Series of external SSDs, pairing visual updates with a continued focus on performance and reliability.
Through this refresh, the iconic redhead mascot Rex is finally back in its prime seat to show the world that the XS series product is indeed a Kingston offering. Anyways, specs-wise, they are more or less the same, with the XS2000 delivering read speeds up to 2,000MB/s and capacities reaching 4TB, and is crafted for videographers on the go, thanks to the Apple ProRes format supporting direct video recording into the drive.
Meanwhile, the more everyday-friendly XS1000 and XS1000R are compact, reliable, and come with up to 1,050MB/s read speeds and 2TB of space.
So if you want, better grab these when they are available for your region.
