G.SKILL has announced a new high-capacity DDR5 memory kit, offering 256GB (64GBx4) at DDR5-6000 CL32 speeds. Built with premium SK hynix ICs, the kit targets users who require both high speed and substantial memory capacity for demanding workloads.
The new memory kit supports AMD EXPO overclocking profiles and has been validated across two high-end platforms: the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO paired with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and the MSI MPG X870E CARBON WIFI with an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X. G.SKILL shared screenshots showcasing the performance stability achieved on both setups.
In addition to the standard DDR5-6000 configuration, G.SKILL demonstrated a DDR5-7000 CL38-50-50 version of the 256GB kit running on the MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, highlighting the headroom for even higher overclocked performance.
The company also showcased the 256GB kit operating at low-latency DDR5-6400 CL32 settings. Validation was performed on two systems: the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO with a Ryzen 9 9900X3D and the MSI MAG B850M MORTAR WIFI paired with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
