The world’s slimmest foldable smartphone has arrived in Singapore so let’s welcome the new OPPO Find N5.
Optimizing every aspect of a foldable device is no easy feat, yet OPPO has achieved significant breakthroughs. Its design features a 7000-series aluminum frame, nanocrystal glass for the outer screen, and an anti-shock film for the inner display. The device is also rated IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 for water and dust resistance.
The newly developed 3D-printed Titanium Alloy Flexion Hinge reduces the crease, making it 10% narrower and 50% shallower than its predecessor. Certified by TÜV Rheinland for reliable folding, the hinge is also 26% smaller and 36% more rigid.
With a thickness of just 8.93mm when folded and only 4.21mm at its slimmest point when unfolded, the Find N5 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful SoC.
For photography, the device incorporates the Hasselblad Master Camera from the Find X8, delivering flagship-class image and video recording capabilities suitable even for professional use.
On the software side, users can run three apps simultaneously, with additional functionality available through the optional OPPO Pen stylus. The O+ Connect feature allows seamless remote access to Mac devices, supporting drag-and-drop across apps and multi-finger gestures on a virtual trackpad.
AI features include I Call Summary, AI Translation, AI Image Editing, and native Google Gemini support with Circle to Search, enhancing productivity.
To top it off, OPPO guarantees four years of OS updates and five years of security updates, ensuring long-term reliability.
