be quiet! has announced a couple of new items, namely the latest iteration Pure Rock 3 series of air coolers together with the Pure Base 501 LX and Pure Base 501 DX PC cases.
First up, the Pure Rock 3 family contains the standard and Pro versions. The Pro model is the highlight here with its double-tower style design – a first within the Pure Rock lineup. It can chill processors rated for up to 250W despite its compact size thanks to the 6x high-performance heat pipes with a nickel-plated base and optimized fan configurations.
It is equipped with 2x Pure Wings 120mm PWM fans that create a funnel-shaped air outlet for improved airflow. Need more rainbows? The LX variant comes with matching LX version fans for striking ARGB.
The mounting kit is easy to use while the asymmetrical design and adjustable front fan height enhance RAM and VRM cooler compatibility. AMD AM5 CPU users can take advantage of an offset mounting option that aligns the base plate with the CPU’s hot spots. For peak thermal performance, it is compatible with liquid metal thermal grease.
Meanwhile, the single-tower Pure Rock 3 retains its iconic design while retaining almost every key feature of the Pro model aside from the TDP rating of 190W and the absence of liquid metal thermal grease support respectively.
On the other hand, the Pure Base 501 LX is an upgrade from the Pure Base 501 and one can immediately know from the 4x Light Wings LX fans – 3 at the front and 1 on the back blasting RGB all around. It also has a hub for 6x ARGB devices and PWM fans for maximum color blend. As for the Pure Base 501 DX, its RGB implementation comes in accent strips instead for a more subtle approach. However, it still maintains a high-airflow intake front panel alongside ample installation of case fans.
Both of them support ATX to mini-ITX motherboards, up to 3x fans / 360mm radiator at the front, removable HDD cages, and a decent set of front I/O ports.
