ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced two premium 27-inch OLED gaming monitors at CES 2025, continuing its streak of cutting-edge releases.
The Swift OLED PG27UCDM boasts a stunning 27-inch 4K OLED panel with a blazing 240Hz refresh rate and 166ppi pixel density, ensuring sharper visuals and clearer text. Gamers can enjoy vivid imagery with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support, while extensive connectivity options — including DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20), HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W Power Delivery — provide maximum flexibility. Additional features such as a USB hub and the ROG DisplayWidget Center for quick access to OLED Care Pro settings enhance usability.
Meanwhile, the Strix OLED XG27AQDPG caters to competitive gamers with its 27-inch QHD OLED panel, delivering an ultra-fast 500Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms GtG response time, native 10-bit color, and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut for vibrant, lifelike visuals. It also includes Dynamic Brightness Boost for superior HDR performance and supports DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC and HDMI 2.1 for seamless connectivity.
Both monitors are equipped with ROG OLED Care Pro, an advanced protective suite designed to minimize the risk of OLED burn-in. The Neo Proximity Sensor automatically switches the screen to black when no user is detected, while features like pixel cleaning, taskbar detection, and a screen saver further prolong panel longevity. The monitors also include ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0, which reduces onscreen flicker and ensures a consistent luminance experience, even during refresh rate fluctuations.
