PICO has teamed up with NVIDIA to bring the GeForce Now game streaming platform to its entire range of VR devices. This integration allows PICO users to stream an extensive library of AAA games in 1440p resolution directly to their headsets, eliminating the need for a Windows PC. The service operates best wirelessly over WiFi 7 for seamless gaming.
Adding to the versatility, PICO headsets now support Bluetooth controllers from popular brands like Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and Razer, ensuring broader compatibility. Since games run on NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX servers, players can benefit from advanced DLSS technology in supported titles, delivering superior visuals and ultra-responsive performance.
The GeForce NOW app is set to debut in the PICO Store later this month, offering flexible subscription plans, including 1-Day Passes and 1-month or 6-month memberships. The Performance plan, starting at $9.99 per month, includes priority RTX server access with DLSS and RTX ON capabilities. For $19.99 per month, the Ultimate plan unlocks premium features like RTX 4080-powered servers, higher frame rates, and reduced latency.
