BenQ Singapore has announced they will be bringing in the new GV50 smart laser portable projector to the local market.
This new model is crafted to meet most of Singapore’s interior structure and design in an urban setting by providing the possibility of transforming any room into a cozy cinema thanks to its popular 135° vertical projection flexibility and is now even better in terms of increased brightness, light source, and onboard features on top of enhanced mechanical design and automatic screen correction.
Its GV series gene also runs in the family featuring omnidirectional angles, two-stage tilt ceiling projection, digital zoom, 360-degree image rotation, and digital H/V lens shift while the audio department is made better through the Ceiling Cinema Sound Mode directing rich 18-watt 2.1-channel audio toward bed height for an immersive sound (Also great if you don’t have a sound system in your home).
For those who are about actual pro-grade aspects, rest assured that the color accuracy of the GV50 is powered by BenQ CinematicColor and CinematicSound for the, uh, sounds. Featuring Rec. 709 color accuracy, HDR/HLG support, and a bright 500 ANSI lumens laser light source, it redefines portable projector experiences.
Last but not least, the software part runs Google TV, is officially licensed by Netflix to stream their content, and can be used for casual gaming such as couch parties. With a USB-C port and DP output as well as power delivery, this is a do-all, be-all device that just makes lives easier.
Price and Availability
From November 11 to 20, the GV50 projector is available at an early bird price of SG$899 (originally SG$1,099), with a free BenQ Portable Projector Carry Bag for each purchase.
