Acer Singapore has finally launched the iconic and classic Swift 14 and Swift 16 AI laptops that comes with the new Intel Core Ultra 200V series proecssors.
Stronger than ever, the new Intel chips are focusing on bolstering the battery life of x86-based laptops with its new architecture and slightly backed-off ambition of pushing extreme frequencies on mobile processors, they are now very competitive in the overall laptop scene with up to 29 hours for video playback and up to 21 hours for mixed usage.
Optimized for AI with Microsoft Copilot+ integration, these new laptops come with intelligent task summaries and Recall, which retrieves past activities through natural language in addition to things like Real-time translations via Live Captions on Teams or Zoom, and context-aware actions through Click to Do, improve workflow.
For the creative people, do try out the enhanced and AI-augmented Microsoft Paint and Cocreator for DALL-E 3 art generation and Background Removal. Acer also has their own AI innovations as well including AcerSense for performance insights and Acer Assist for offline document summarization as well as the classic duo of PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0.
Premium build quality and user experience are also what Acer is aiming for the Swift series as it comes with sleek, aluminum bodies and features OLED displays with DCI-P3 color accuracy and HDR TrueBlack 500 certification on top of the up to 120Hz refresh rate. Other metrics puts them at up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs, and support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for fast connectivity.
They also come with a decent set of security features like Windows Hello via facial or fingerprint, Acer User Sensing that auto logins and logs out the user based on their presence, and Intel Partner Security and Microsoft Pluton protecting data at the hardware level.
To ensure they are committed to ESG goals, the laptops include recycled plastics as well as their packaging.
Price and Availability
The Swift 14 AI is available now in Singapore, starting at SG$1,499, while the Swift 16 AI will arrive in December, starting at SG$1,649. Both models can be purchased from major retailers and online platforms like Amazon and Lazada.
