Aside from the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, Samsung Singapore is also going to release the Galaxy Tab S10 series next month.
The release schedule from 1.5 years to just 1 year for tablets might have led to this generation giving 2 options of the 12.4-inch 2800×1752 120Hz S10+ or the 14.6-inch 2960×1848 120Hz S10 Ultra but they are better right from the start.
Both models come with anti-reflection displays, so you can finally say goodbye to glare from poorly placed lighting or the sun messing with your viewing angles.
On top of being thinner than the previous generation, Samsung has added Enhanced Armor Aluminum and an IP68 rating for superior durability.
And yes, a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC! This could be the first time Samsung is using a MediaTek chip in a flagship device, and early impressions suggest it’s quite impressive.
Additionally, a 1.48x larger vapor chamber improves heat management, and memory is standardized across all models at 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
As for battery life, the Tab S10+ is powered by a 10,090mAh battery, while the Tab S10 Ultra comes with an 11,200mAh battery, both supporting 45W fast charging.
Samsung promises 7 years of OS updates and security patches, along with full Galaxy AI features right out of the box.
Exclusive AI features for these tablets include Intelligent Dialogue Booster, which makes voices clearer against background music, plus voice recording with summarization and transcription, AI sketching, auto math problem solving with step-by-step explanations, and more.
On the software side, Samsung is enhancing the experience with new apps like SketchBook and PicsArt, in addition to existing ones like Goodnotes, Noteshelf 3, Clip Studio Paint, and ArcSite.
In terms of accessories, the Smart Book Cover returns in two new colors: blue and an “orange + green” mix.
For the keyboard, Samsung offers two types: one with a trackpad and kickstand, and a more unconventional one without a trackpad that props the tablet up. We’ll see how well that fares over time. Both keyboards feature a new Galaxy AI physical key, similar to the Copilot key in Windows laptops.
Pressing the Alt+Galaxy AI key lets users toggle between Bixby, the on-device AI, and Google Gemini, which is cloud-based. Bixby serves as more of a “butler” for managing your SmartThings ecosystem and handling basic controls, while Gemini functions as a context-aware LLM capable of answering complex queries.
There’s also a revamped interface where the Galaxy AI key activates multitasking mode.
