ASUS Singapore has announced they are bringing in the Vivowatch 6 smartwatch and will be placing it on shelves in just a couple of weeks.
Although not exactly the most budget option out there, it is well-balanced by its high build quality featuring a 1.39-inch round AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection providing clear and vibrant visuals at 350 nits brightness max.
It also comes with 2 sets of medical-grade ECG and PPG sensors that can track your physical wellbeing with high accuracy while lasting for a long time. Other than that, the outer ring has a Bioelectrical Impedance sensor capable of measuring body composition and it is as simple as placing your thumb and index finger on the sensor, and parameters from body fat and skeletal muscle percentages to water content and basal metabolic rate can be calculated.
And you also have the usual heart rate tracker and stress calculator that can tabulate collected data and present it to users via the Body Harmony Analysis feature.
The ASUS HealthConnect app also got an update to support it in addition to the existing suite of customization options including Care Track, a cloud-based service that can view each authorized user within a connected circle their position and health status in real-time.
Other notable things for the watch include an up to 14 days battery life which is kind of cool and decent as well as dual-band GPS for accurate position tracking.
Price and Availability
The ASUS Vivowatch 6 will be priced at S$499 and is slated for in-stock sales sometime during this month.
