Considering giving Arm-based Windows laptops a shot but finding the prices a bit high? The new ASUS Vivobook S15 and ProArt PZ13 laptops might ease those concerns.
These models feature the more “budget-friendly” Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus SoC, instead of the Elite variant seen in earlier releases. This results in a reduced core count of 8 and a lower boost clock speed.
Despite this, the powerful iGPU still offers impressive capabilities, such as supporting up to three external monitors, while the integrated NPU delivers 45 TOPS of AI performance.
Otherwise, ASUS has kept the design and other components largely unchanged from similar models. The Vivobook S15 continues to feature a slim 14.7mm, 1.42kg metal body, and a quality display, while the ProArt PZ13 retains its all-black design, pro-grade screen, and a range of ProArt software.
