ASUS wrapped up its IFA 2024 presentation with a showcase of its latest offerings, highlighting laptops powered by the new Intel Core Ultra 200V processor.
Among the new releases is the Zenbook S 14, a fresh size option in the Zenbook lineup, which is now the slimmest 14-inch laptop available on the market.
This laptop is constructed from the signature Ceraluminum material and features 2,715 CNC-machined cooling vents near the keyboard to enhance airflow and improve heat dissipation.
It can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 200V processor, delivering up to 48 NPU TOPS of performance, paired with a 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display. The FHD AiSense IR camera allows extensive customization for video calls, and the 72WHr battery provides ample power to keep the device running for several days.
For those in the business sector, ASUS introduced the ExpertBook P series, led by the flagship ExpertBook P5, which comes equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 200V processor and an array of AI-enhanced tools designed to maximize productivity.
Additionally, the lineup includes more budget-friendly options like the ExpertBook P1, tailored for SMEs in need of business-ready devices with the latest hardware.
ASUS’s AI tools, known as ASUS AI ExpertMeet, offer features such as AI transcription, AI translation, AI subtitles, assisted meeting summaries, AI camera, AI noise canceling, business watermarks, and more.
Security remains a top priority, with multilayered solutions available to protect the devices, including the optional SafeGuard Backup tool, which securely encrypts and backs up crucial data.
The commercial laptops are designed with a clean, modern look, crafted from industrial recycled aluminum alloy and post-consumer recycled steel, fulfilling ESG objectives.
Lastly, the Vivobook S 14 also sees an update. While it remains largely consistent with previous models, it now features an Intel Core Ultra 7 200V processor with up to 47 NPU TOPS performance and updated support for WiFi 7, while other elements like the display, I/O ports, and overall user experience remain largely unchanged.
