Samsung Singapore has announced they will be rolling out the Circle to Search function starting tomorrow for select Galaxy A series smartphones as well as the Galaxy Tab S9 Fe and Tab S9 FE+ tablets.
Ever since its debut on the Galaxy S24 series smartphones, Circle to Search has been gaining popularity by streamlining the search experience to a simple gesture and “receive response” flow. As time goes on, it has been implemented across different Galaxy devices as well but it was mostly in the flagship level.
However, the integration of the feature towards the Galaxy A series and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series has ended that “exclusivity” and now allows even budget buyers to enjoy Galaxy AI with ease and play around with things like full-page translation, homework assistance, QR, and barcode scanning.
Born from a close collaboration with Google, Circle to Search is as it as it is – no app switching, just draw a circle on what you want to look up, then you’ll get the closest result to the subject or get more information about it by including text prompts as the search query.
