Kingston has unveiled a new red color option for its XS1000 External SSD, a winner in the Red Dot Awards 2024 Product Design category.
This new color joins the existing XS1000 in black and the XS2000 in silver. Weighing just 29 grams, the XS1000 offers impressive read speeds of up to 1050MBps, making it ideal for tasks like editing high-resolution video footage directly from the SSD in addition to being extremely easy to carry around.
Aside from being certified to work seamlessly with iPhone 15, the USB C-to-A and USB A-to-C adapters ensure the external SSD is ready to serve any system of modern and legacy in addition to being cross-platform compatible from PCs and Macs to game consoles and smart TVs.
Kingston is also happy that they can continue to provide value to customers in a new way and stated:
“Building on the success of the all-black XS1000, we’ve introduced a new colorway for those customers looking to stand out and express themselves through color. With the addition of XS1000 red, they now have more options for external storage and can expand their digital library with an award-winning design.”
The Kingston XS1000 is currently available for purchase in capacities of 1TB and 2TB.
