The Google Pixel 9 series smartphones have finally been unveiled and as usual, Singapore will be the main hub in the SEA region to host all of the newly announced products so let’s briefly go through them.
First, we have the base Pixel 9 that offers a harmonious blend of performance and affordability through the new Tensor G4 SoC tackling every mobile AI algorithm and features with ease. Even as the most accessible model, Google does not skimp on the cameras and is tuned for everyday photography, making it a great choice for users who prioritize simplicity without sacrificing image quality.
Want to have more power in your hands? Well, although technically all of the new models come with the Tensor G4 chip, the part getting enhanced for the Pixel 9 Pro is the back camera setup with an added telephoto lens alongside improved night photography and video stabilization, making it a top choice for those who demand the best in mobile imaging.
Alternatively, if you want more screen estate then consider the Pixel 9 Pro XL but that’s not all – it as extended battery life and faster wireless charging standards.
And lastly, we finally have the OG Android maker stepping into the foldable smartphone scene via the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. With everything crafted in-house dedicated to this device, Google aims to properly elevate productivity and entertainment, the practical way. Perhaps this can inspire a new set of guidelines for partner brands to follow and create meaningful UI/UX elements. Hey, I would like an affordable foldable smartphone with good interfaces in the future too.
Here’s a quick spec sheet run down for all of them.
