Samsung’s latest Galaxy Unpacked event also includes the Galaxy Buds3 and Buds 3 Pro TWS so let’s find out what’s interesting about them.
First off, the standard Buds3 adopts an open-ear design and also comes in a White color. So uhm, you know what sort of “pods” it looks very close to.
It comes with a single-way 11mm Dynamic Driver that packs stronger output than the previous generation.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro rocks an enhanced 2-way 10.5mm Dynamic and 6.1mm Planar drivers for an even broader audio range. And yes, it has ear tips and I personally would pick this any day.
Despite the difference, Samsung doesn’t really gatekeep the software stuff as they have the “Find Buds” feature so you can get them back whenever you lose them, as well as real-time translations. The ANC and EQ also have “Adaptive” modes tuned to the user’s ear canals.
Both models have the same if not identical battery life rating of up to 6 hours with ANC on while the case holds up to 30 hours of extra battery. IP57 rating is just the standard in 2024.
And as the title mentioned, support for 24-bit 96KHz audio is here – a definite plus for the “I wanna be an audiophile but I can’t go back to wired connection” gang.
