ROG has showcased the brand new ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 tri-band WiFi 7 gaming router at Computex 2024 as part of the latest lineup for hardcore and enthusiast-grade network equipment.
This new router is a force to reckon with as it runs on the latest WiFi 7 standard to make up 19 Gbps of wireless speed thanks to the features of 20 MHz channels, 4096-QAM, and Multi-Link Operation. And much to ROG’s effort, the Rapture GT-BE1900 is the world’s 1st gaming router with Automatic Frequency Coordination, optimizing the 6 GHz band for reduced congestion and increased power.
If you factor in the wired connection, then the 2x 10GbE and 4x 2.5GbE essentially make the full throughput a whopping 31Gbps!
It also comes with things like Guest Network Pro allows easy management of network features via dedicated SSID or VLAN as well as IoT device management, parental controls, and VPN connections. On the other hand, be sure to take advantage of Gaming Network function that combines gaming features into a single SSID for optimal performance as well as Triple-Level Game Acceleration which is the game packet forwarding prioritization feature. Oh yeah, it supports Smart AiMesh with Multi-Link Operation as well, so you can use this in addition to various other ASUS routers.
Speaking of those, ASUS/ROG also let us know that the range of models including ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro, ROG Rapture GT-BE98, ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro (BE30000), ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16, and ASUS RT-BE88 has a new update that adds MLO support, Smart AiMesh, and more too.
