AMD has released the latest driver download and patch note for the Software: Adrenalin Edition 24.6.1 with Radeon Anti-Lag 2 finally getting “fixed” and improved in this “version 2” iteration.
Ever since the very first debut of the Radeon Anti-Lag which is Team Red’s response to NVIDIA Reflex for reduced latency, it has gathered quite the controversy due to the program hook falsely triggering Steam’s VAC ban system in Counter-Strike 2 and led to numerous outcries from the community.
But since then, AMD has improved on it, and aside from avoiding getting flagged as “cheating software”, the results seem to be better at cutting down the latency numbers across different models of GPUs and resolutions but your mileage may vary.
Despite the rough start, it is a positive gain that can be obtained for free and used at will.
Moving over to FSR 3.1, we have these 5 titles being added to the support list and up to 3.3x FPS increase can be obtained at 1440p and 4K resolution:
- Ghost of Tsushima: DIRECTOR’S CUT
- Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
- Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
AMD also added Radeon Ready Support for ‘The First Descendant’ and ‘Once Human’ as well as HYPR-TUNE profiles for ‘Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’, ‘Overwatch 2’, ‘The First Descendant’, ‘F1 24’, and ‘Outpost: Infinity Siege’.
