ZOTAC has unveiled its latest range of GPU products, but these are not targeted at regular consumers. Instead, they are tailored for enterprises seeking a slice of the AI market while prioritizing local hardware over cloud services.
The new Enterprise lineup offers diverse form factors and configurations, ranging from Tower Workstations to Rack Mount Servers. It’s important to note that these are not merely “GPU-only” racks; they are complete systems featuring Intel/AMD CPUs with support for up to 10 GPUs, simplifying deployment.
These systems boast industrial-grade components such as redundant PSUs and high-performance fans to ensure optimal operation. ZOTAC has categorized the lineup into three types:
- Essential Series: Designed for cost-effectiveness and flexibility, available in OLT Tower Workstation and 4U rack server formats.
- Advanced Series: Offering more power and versatility in 4U form factor, with improved CPU/GPU options and support for features like PCIe 5.0.
- Premiere Series: Tailored for critical tasks such as LLM and machine learning, featuring up to 8x Server PCIe Module (SXM) or OCP Accelerator Module (OAM) GPUs, along with enhanced connectivity and storage options.
Moreover, these server racks can be acquired either as barebone configurations or as chassis-motherboard bundles for immediate use.
The offerings feature a modular design for efficient cable management and airflow optimization, and they are certified to run various Linux Enterprise Grade distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Ubuntu, VMware, and Citrix.
Availability
The ZOTAC GPU Server Series will be launched globally, starting with China on March 25th.
