AGON by AOC has announced the latest gaming monitor addition that has been blessed by Porsche Design – the new PD49 ultra-wide gaming display.
The PD49 rocks a long 5120×1440 resolution or DQHD powered by a 49-inch curved QD-OLED panel which is one of the premium selections in the market right now. Offering up to 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG response time for a superior gaming experience, the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 1000 nits peak brightness make it perfect for stuff like movies and production work too.
Usable by both console and PC systems thanks to HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, the additional USB Hub with 4x USB-A ports plus an Ethernet cable will make routing peripherals very easy and straightforward. It also has a 90W USB-C port for charging devices. And what? KVM support? Oh hell yeah.
Aside from practical features like Frame Counter, On-Screen Crosshair, and Low Input Lag Mode, the entire design ethos of the PD49, sure looks like a Porsche automobile (since it is designed by Porsche Design duh). Sporting a “Porsche 911’s radiator grille” on the back, the On-Screen Display design rocks a special boot-up logo while the customizable RGB Light FX elements on the back of the monitor and the bottom of the stand illuminate with just enough intensity for a subtle yet cool look.
