Previous speculation about the specs of the upcoming Nothing Phone 2(a) has been rectified in the latest official announcement by the brand.
Despite the “leaked specs” mentioning the name of the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, they aren’t that far off from the truth as Nothing revealed that it is actually a custom model Dimensity 7200 Pro processor co-engineered with MediaTek.
Fabricated with TSMC’s 2nd gen 4nm process, the octa-core chip is capable of boosting upwards of 2.8GHz alongside 12GB+8GB physical and virtual RAM technology to provide strong battery efficiency and utmost performance.
Furthermore, the phone will be carrying the Smart Clean feature which is essentially a “defragger” back end that sorts file fragments enabling faster file loading and smoother daily operation.
One more reminder about the launch of the Nothing Phone 2(a) is gonna be on March 5, 7.30 PM Singapore time.
