One of the new products announced at CES 2024 by LG is their award-winning gram series laptops that received the yearly refresh carrying some of the latest computing parts.
For the power model of the gram Pro that comes in sizes of 16-inch and 17-inch, they are equipped with an Intel Core Ultra processor alongside NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and a PCIe 4.0 SSD. Similar to any Meteor Lake-equipped machine, the Intel AI Boost tech offered by the native NPU accelerates everything AI from generative to assistive locally without the need for an Internet connection.
The new dual cooling system helps to keep the system temperature in check while the sleek styling packs all the performance you need within a compact and elegant chassis. Let’s not forget the WQXGA IPS/ WQXGA+ OLED display offering superior clarity and color accuracy at 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and a wide variety of I/O ports including Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and HDMI.
On the other hand, the standard gram models come in your usual 14/15/16/17-inches also carrying an Intel Core Ultra processor and PCIe 4.0 SSD while removing that RTX 3050 from the list.
Frequent online conference attendees will appreciate the 1080p webcam for clear video capture alongside LG Glance by Mirametrix privacy protection.
Regardless of which model, these new models are compatible with the LG gram Link app which is the bridge between your Android/iOS device to the laptop, offering features like file transfer, smartphone control with mouse and keyboard, screen mirroring, and more.
