Seagate has announced a brand new entry to its data centers line of products in the form of the Nytro 4350 NVMe SSD.
Crafted with performance, latency, and power consumption in mind, the Nytro 4350 SSD strikes for the absolute balance since data centers care about all those factors in addition to QoS features.
This piece of PCIe 4.0 drive delivers up to 58K random IOPS writes and 800K random IOPS reads with consistent response times which smoothens the entire operation of a given system while operating at 3.3V only.
With up to 1.92TB per drive, data center admins can selectively fill either the needs of fast storage or dedicated cache without overcrowding M.2 slots. On the other hand, the endurance is expected to be industrial level of toughness with 1 DWPD at 2M hours MTBF.
Compatible with Linux and Microsoft-based systems, the drive is also OCP NVMe SSD 2.0 compliant and includes the power loss data protection feature for another layer of peace of mind.
Let’s not forget the SMART thermal monitoring and end-to-end data protection which are the bread and butter of enterprise-grade parts plus out-of-the-box compatibility of Seagate SeaTools drive management software for easy drive health monitoring.
