Samsung Singapore debuts new Galaxy A series smartphone and tablets for a digital combo that is easier for the wallet

Samsung Galaxy A05s and Galaxy Tab A9 Series

Samsung Singapore has announced the arrival of the new Galaxy A05s and Galaxy Tab A9 series of tablets, giving the mid-range market some love before 2023 ends.

Let’s start with the phone first. The Galaxy A05s continues to push for the “value-first” philosophy but scales it up little by little in terms of what’s under the hood, namely the SoC powering the device.

The same OS provides almost all the identical features as the Galaxy S series while the set of cameras has slight improvements too.

On the other hand, we have the Galaxy Tab A9 series comprising the standard A9 and the bigger A9+ with split models of WiFi and LTE. Just a quick mention that for the A9+, you actually get 5G instead of LTE due to the chipset difference.

For this year’s A-series tablets, Samsung is going ham on the screen size with the biggest to date at 8.7-inch for the A9 and 11-inch for the A9+. The 90Hz refresh rate and Dolby Atmos speakers will make movies look and sound great at this price point.

Samsung DeX is also enabled for the duo for better productivity when connected to an external display while the native Screen Recorder function is now live for those who need to create some guides or tutorials as part of their work.
