ASUS has officially taken over Intel’s Next Unit of Computing (NUC) product line starting this week and will soon offer its own systems and offerings featuring Intel’s 10th to 13th generation CPUs.
The small form factor aimed at deployment convenience in commercial and AIoT solutions has fully integrated into ASUS’s portfolio where existing customers can just contact them and continue business as usual.
The official department handling it will be the ASUS NUC Business Unit (BU) with several experts from the old Intel NUC team joining them as well for even greater software and cloud computing-focused R&D efforts in the future.
ASUS’s vision is to expand further in the areas of professional and AI programmers, governments, enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses as well as edge computing and industrial applications.
