A new year means it is time for Samsung to release their latest Galaxy Watch6 series smartwatches and we have a good old guest returning.
And yes, we are talking about the Galaxy Watch6 Classic with a big rotating bezel for that modern and classy look. It comes in 47mm and 43mm sizes so his and hers are both available.
And the base Galaxy Watch6 model as always, with that smooth bezel-less display showing all the info. Speaking of displays, all models are 20% larger than the last-gen so great news for everyone who just wants more screen estate.
As for the bezels, the standard is 30% smaller while the Classic is 15% tinier. Performance and battery life has been improved across the board contributed by the use of a new Exynos SoC.
But anyway, let’s go through what’s the new features in this generation.
For starters, they are focusing on sleeping out of everything through the Sleep Score Factor that calculates a bunch of stuff from total sleep time and cycles to awake time and recovery quality.
Individualized sleep messages provide necessary feedback about the user’s sleep health each morning.
Enhanced Sleep Coaching, on the other hand, has all the nice tidbits and tricks to help create a good environment for sleeping well through a smart connection with supported home appliances such as dimming light sources and screens or disabling notifications.
As for working out, the Personalized Heart Rate Zone is tailored towards each and every user with unique profiling on the condition of their beating heart which will be especially useful for specific training.
Can’t say that beating at 110 is dangerous during high-intensity aerobic exercises because it is just normal.
For senior citizens, Fall Detection will be useful in detecting any sort of tripping whether during exercises or standard movements which will subsequently trigger an automatic emergency response when set up properly.
