AMD has released the latest Ryzen PRO 7040 series processors dedicated to industrial use such as businesses and professional organizations.
These new CPUs are packed with up to 8 cores powered by the Zen 4 architecture together with RDNA 3 iGPU for the best balance of performance and efficiency for business applications with longer battery life and stronger processing power.
Not only that, 5 of the 6 announced SKUs contain the new Ryzen AI – an integrated AI engine that is tasked to relieve some of the AI-related applications, particularly generative AI which is this year’s craze in the tech space.
That’s not the only thing they can accelerate though as AMD is confident that this AI engine will bring unique advantages to the thin and light laptop market without costing the consumers as much.
Here’s a quick look at the specs of the Ryzen PRO 7040 series offerings.
