With COMPUTEX 2023 officially closing the curtains, let’s summarize what’s been happening over there and what’s the focus this time around.
Occured from May 30 to June 2 over at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center’s Hall 1 and Hall 2, 1000+ manufacturers honing in from 26 countries and regions occupying more than 3,000 booths have gathered to share their latest/upcoming/concept offerings and expertise as well as getting to know one and another for potential business opportunities.
Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Chairman James Huang and Taipei Computer Association (TCA) Chairman Paul Peng both expressed the same ideology for 2023 – AI affecting humans in countless ways from a result standpoint and the surge of global attention in addition to procurement demand for HPC platforms.
As such, Taiwan is one of the most important places in the ICT industry that combines cutting-edge fabrication in semiconductors, innovative engineering, and mass production capabilities to drive the world into the next digital era.

The main talks of the town for COMPUTEX 2023 revolve around high-performance computing, artificial intelligence application, next-gen connectivity, hyperreality, innovations and startups, and sustainability.

Sustainable future with COMPUTEX ESG GO!
COMPUTEX 2023 also did its part in following the goal of carbon reduction by hosting several green booths with insert signs while exhibitors that obtained international sustainability certification with have an ‘ESG GO!’ sign displayed alongside their brand logos.
The initiative is participated by 18 companies such as Acer, ASUS, BenQ, Delta, Gigabyte, Inventec, MSI, Quanta Computer, and more.
Another dedicated collaboration comes in the form of TAITRA and Acer creating the Earth Mission App – a 21-day sustainable lifestyle application that invites all participants to train and adapt energy-saving and carbon-reducing habits. Achievements are transformed into new trees being planted in the Amazon rainforest.
