be quiet!’s latest move in the PC chassis market has been revealed a couple of weeks ago and it is the brand new Dark Base Pro 901.
Served as the upgrade for the existing and now “one gen older” Dark Base Pro 900, the Dark Base Pro 901 comes with several enhancements like the exchangeable panels in the box plus a detachable top and front bracket with included fan hub and pogo pin connectors for different requirements based on the user.
If needed, an inverted layout is supported thanks to the special rail system and yes, the case is great to pair with the Sieltn Wings 4 fans to deliver high airflow thus great cooling without compromising on noise level.
Lots of spaces and mounting points are created to host a radiator at the size of 420mm and fans can be installed on the side panel as well. The included GPU support bracket will come in handy for those RTX 4090s and whatnot.
A couple of cable bars carefully hide away the cables while storage support can go up to 1x 5.25-inch drive, 2x HDD/6x SSD out of the box with further expansion allowing 5x HDD/10x SSD.
The ARGB lighting on the front and the PSU shroud gives a little touchup to the rig while the light and fan settings can be easily controlled through the touch-sensitive buttons on the I/O panel top everything off, Qi-Charge wireless pad is there to juice up your small devices while you work or game.
Additional PCIe 4.0 riser cables and HDD cages can be purchased separately too.
